David was born in Baulkham Hills Sydney. In year one of school he left Sydney to live in Canberra where at the age of 13, he started playing cricket and golf. He did classes at Erindale College for golf and got down to a handicap of 6, while in the same period also playing cricket! At age 18 David started an apprenticeship as a chef and continued cheffing into his late 20s and beyond. His love of cricket never waned, he found himself on his way to play in England. Playing four seasons in England he managed to achieve a score of 120 off 67 bowls while batting, also did pretty good as an opening bowler. David always had a love for music. When he was about 20 years old and in the midst of his sporting successes with his love for cooking, David started writing songs. This became an obsession that he could not shake off. He did well with his love for cooking, which put him in a solid financial position, which led to him doing particularly well in real estate. He was overwhelmed with a desire to succeed as a music artist. Unfortunately, he had was diagnosed with bi polar disorder and was in and out of hospital for a while. He was told by the doctors to not dream about being a singer, this made David even more hungry to succeed as a singer/songwriter!
