David Piorek is a singer, whose dark, jangling Americana showcases lyrics characterized by Biblical and literary allusion, unique poeticism, and comedic angst. Whether the songs are from the point of view of an Old Testament prophet having an existential crisis or a stray dog contemplating the stars, they all explore the struggle to hold on to faith in a modern world full of dread and confusion.
