[Introduction]: David Williams is a guitarist, singer/songwriter from Canberra, Australia He has been playing guitar from the age of fourteen and is now fifty-nine years old David has performed (on and off) in a number of local bands around Canberra region since the late 1970’s David plays acoustic, electric and resonator guitars [Musical Inspirations]: As a guitar player David has been influenced and inspired by many others across a wide selection through a diversity of styles and musical genre: Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Peter Green, BB King, Frank Zappa, Dave Gilmour, Johnny Winter, George Benson, Hank Marvin, Carlos Santana, Wes Montgomery, Django Rheinhardt, Chet Atkins, Ry Cooder, Roy Buchanan, Mark Knopfler, Larry Carlton, Steve Lukather, Joe Satriani, Eddie Van Halen, Richie Blackmore, and Al Dimeola to name just a few.
