Days at Sea are a product of the Brisbane and Toowoomba indie music scenes. They are a band that play their original music: their sound is in spite of punk, because of pop and with a nod to rock and country conventions. They play music that filters their tastes into their own sound. They have just completed the recording of their self-titled debut ep ‘days at sea’ and are preparing for the official launch by working through some live performances. The ep featuring 6 songs showcasing their breadth of style and sound. They draw their influences from both sides of the Atlantic, from Echo and the Bunnymen to The Smithereens and closer to home with the Sunnyboys and Triffids. Their music is hook-laden and guitar-driven, yet distinctly a sound of their own. https://www.facebook.com/daysatseamusic.daysatseamusic Featured songs from the ep are on SoundCloud. https://soundcloud.com/user-395896779
