Daze is an Australian band hailing from The Gold Coast, Queensland. Daze first hit the Australian music scene in late 2009 as a four piece alternative rock band, instantly making an impact with interesting arrangements, heavy choruses, emotive melodic vocals, off kilter sonic synth sounds, and an energetic live show. Although very much a new band, they have achieved much in their short time together, already attracting a solid local following and scoring a spot in the lineup for numerous local & interstate shows and festivals - all before a debut EP. Daze began as songwriting project between Nicky James (Vocals, Synth & Guitar) and Dan Bartlett (Lead Guitar) who decided to bring their songs to completion with the big sound they imagined, & start a band. with the addition of Nathan Poetschka on drums and Kim Wilson on bass, The result is a new, diverse, powerful sound not to be missed
