Edit history

DD Sof is the disco alter-ego of classical singer Sofia Laursen Habel. From a grain farm in rural north west Victoria, Sofia was raised on ABBA, QUEEN, Donna Summer and Earth Wind and Fire. With disco and 70’s pop as a backdrop, Sofia studied classical music at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music from 2016-2020, completing her honours degree. Back working on the grain farm, Sofia is developing a fusion of 70’s pop and disco with modern electronic soundscapes produced by folmR resulting in a delightfully playful indie pop.
