Dead Canary is a 3 piece garage band. No glamour, No flairy drum stick twirls. No musical masturbation. The music has evolved over the last 6 months. Mik Davis and Pete Serroni started the band with Dane, hoping to play some music that FELT good. Mat Silcock(ex-DAMAGED) joined on the bass guitar to round out the sound. Now a 3 piece and the result being an uncomplicated punk rock band with an edge of ...something. Combining the ethos of Detroit rock, an unmistakable Oz flavour and with a pinch of an insidious attitude, Dead Canary recorded three songs that encapsulate thier diverse sound. It's a bit sinister, it's a bit tongue in cheek, it's driven and catchy as fuck. Our new tracks have a slightly darker edge. Gigs will be coming shortly. Keep your eye out because this music was made to be enjoyed in a pub where a million beers have been spilt.
