Formed in early 2019, alternative pop-rock band Dear Charlie has been electrifying Melbourne stages and are proving to be one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Melbourne’s southeast. They have stuck together working on recording their music through the Covid-19 pandemic in spite of multiple lockdowns and other disruptions. Consisting of Katie Grigg (songwriter/vocalist) and Trevor Deng (guitarist), Dear Charlie mirrors the energy and angst of bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen whilst incorporating the tenderness and pop sensibilities of artists like Billie Eilish and Kevin Garrett.
