Dear Matilda, known on stage for their explosive energy and lyrical dynamite, are dropping their new single “Anymore” this October. Front woman, Gabrielle Matilda, known for her open and honest lyrics and a dynamic voice bursting with passion says “the song is about reflecting on a broken relationship, being vulnerable and honest enough to yourself to admit that it’s not working, but also, how much it burns to say goodbye to someone you did really care for.” “Anymore” is a marking a thrilling new direction for the band, with previous releases until now leaning towards acoustic punk, or their self produced “Drive Me Crazy”, the new track “Anymore” pumps you up with thumping kicks, distortion galore and a whole lotta “get out of my face energy”. Recorded at The Loud Noise Estate in Coburg with Ev and Ash, who helped the band to achieve their vision for the crunchiest guitar tones inspired by the likes of Paramore, Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers and Cry Club. It is the first of many upcoming full band recordings for “Dear Matilda”.
