Formed in 2016, Death Plague are a 5 piece heavy hitting extreme/groove metal band from Sunshine Coast and surrounding areas. Formed as an originals act, we have worked with the underground local scene (and completed the first of many interstate trips) while organising and assisting with small local festivals and making great connections with other awesome bands. Our sound can be described as unique, with tracks being written from progressive rock and ballad structures through to unusual tempo changes creating a different and engaging feel, and lyrics centred around equality and family law. This broadens the ability to include different avenues of metal allowing every individual to enjoy the songs. Catchy riffs, powerful vocals, balanced solos, hard hitting drums and creative live shows all combine for a listening experience that draws you in and leaves you wondering what's coming next!
