DECΛDES are a modern melodic metalcore band from Brisbane, Australia, formed by members of previous touring heavy acts. Blending cinematic atmosphere, soaring melodies and crushing heaviness, the band combines progressive influences, ambient textures and emotionally driven songwriting with a strong focus on storytelling and visual world-building. Drawing inspiration from bands like Architects, Northlane and Invent Animate while carving their own identity, DECΛDES explore themes of growth, decay, identity and emotional collapse throughout their music and visuals. Their latest releases continue building toward their larger conceptual project, Inertia Bloom — a cinematic collection of songs centered around transformation emerging from stagnation.
