When they're not dressing up in military outfits from Tsarist Russia, the Decorated Generals make music. Sprawling, thumping, rocking music, with harmonies. Delicate harmonies, like the wings of a moth, yet strong and manly, like the wings of a hawk. This Sydney four-piece has been a stalwart of the Sydney scene since way-back-when. Familiar faces at Oxford Art Gallery and venues such as World Bar, the Generals have recently begun bunkering down to work on a new release due out Spring 2010.
