Deeds started off in Mount Maunganui N.Z spreading their honest, edgy, and melodic sound into a cover heavy scene for over a decade playing along side some of N.Zs best acts like Katchafire, Kora, Swamp Thing, Midnight Youth, and Tahuna Breaks. Finally in 2012 releasing the debut album "THE EVIDENCE" a diverse mix of songs spanning from pop, indie, and roots. Then in late 2012 putting a new Ep together narrowing down the sound to a more edgy feel which captured more of the live sound the deeds are known and respected for. Now a move to Brisbane has an exciting and new journey sure to inspire and strengthen their resolve and belief.

From the ashes of now-defunct indie orchestra Inland Sea comes Brisbane rock outfit DEEDS. Four years on from his prior band’s demise, frontman and songwriter Beau Lindsay found a way to ‘get the band back together’, rounding up three of his former bandmates with new songs and a new vision. They hit the studio in 2015 with producer Govinda Doyle (Angus and Julia Stone) and are now ready to release their debut EP. DEEDS draws on the powerful indie rock songwriting of The National and Arcade Fire, but with the added punch of a QOTSA or Foo Fighters record. The result is a sound that ranges from delicate to monumental, and a feeling that will stay with you long after you’ve finished listening.
