Deefective is a 39 year old producer hailing from the outer eastern suburbs in Melbourne. After playing the violin from age 8, both solo and in a high school orchestra, and composing chamber music, Deefective found the emerging trance sound in the early 90's. Since then his music has progressed through genres like house, trance & breakbeat, currently sitting the fence between outdoor festival inspired progressive house & techno. Sliding basslines, catchy melodics & emerging atmospherics can usually be found in Deefectives tracks.
