Deep City Diver are an epic guitar pop band led by Australian singer/songwriter Ryan Nicolussi. Since relocating to London in late-2015, Deep City Diver have developed a devoted grassroots following that has taken them to venues across the U.K. Their self-titled debut album was released independently on vinyl and digital formats in 2017 off the back of a successful Kickstarter campaign. The album was met with glowing reviews from blog taste-makers internationally. New single 'Dream Sequence' is an exhilarating guitar pop gem that recalls classic 80's bands The Smiths and The Church, but with distinctly contemporary indie flourishes. As heard on BBC Radio, the track signals a renewed focus on what DCD consider to be their core strengths –the acrobatic interplay of guitar and bass, Factory Records-style atmospherics and a soaring chorus to send shivers down the spine.
