Known universally as the Sunshine State, Queensland has had that reputation somewhat tarnished by the brutal Death Metal sounds of Degeneratum. Since completing their line-up in 2017, Degeneratum have unleashed 'Circuits', 'For The Many' and 'Invidia Mors' in quick succession, each more dark and malevolent than the last. In a saturated scene and genre such as Death Metal, it is easy to get lost in the masses but Degeneratum steadfastly refuse to merely make up numbers. They are here to lead the pack. Harnessing elements of the groove, core and djent movements, Degeneratum's sound is fresh, unique and subtle as a size ten boot to the ribs, ensuring listeners not only succumb to the sheer ferocity of their musical landscape, but also feel a part of the process.
