“Having drawn a rather large number of crew as young looking as they are, it’s apparent that a load of people are catching onto their subtle and detailed texture-considered tunes” – The Big Splash Competition, 2016 The band formed in early 2016, with Nic (vocals/guitar) and Chad (bass) having previously played together during their high school years before completing the line-up with long-time friends Felix (synth/guitar) and Michael (drums). Only 4 months after formation Deli Days made the final 32 out of over 200 entrants for Perth’s prestigious Big Splash Competition. Despite living in one of the most isolated cities in the world, indie pop act Deli Days draws on both local and international influences to create an upbeat and melodic fusion of electronic and acoustic musical elements.
