Crowned Queen Of The Blues, after the death of Koko Taylor, Denise LaSalle was a singer, songwriter, performer and business woman. Her powerhouse voice and songwriter’s knowledge found a perfect home when she turned out multiple hits for Westbound, starting with the dynamic “Trapped By A Thing Called Love." Her three albums for Westbound that followed are considered classics of 70s Blues.
