Der Irrfunk is mainly influencend by early 1980's styles like New Wave and Synthpop. The sound is minimal and was recorded at home on a 4-track recorder; hence Der Irrfunk is mostly connected and influenced by the "Minimal-Sounds" of "NDW" sub-genre "Kassettentaeter".
