Derek J. Turner is a Sydney based DJ/Producer who creates not-so-typical house music. Formerly a touring & recording guitarist in the 90's, Derek now lists his Moog Voyager XL as his instrument of choice, which can usually be heard throughout his tracks. Derek is usually more inclined to write a bridge section with a key change than just keep the loop repeating, usually more inclined to dial in the hardware synth than scroll through the VST presets, and usually more inclined to record actual claps than drop in that generic sample. Usually. Derek is also the founder & operator of Quarterpipe Records / Studio which is increasingly giving life to other artists' music and doing releases as well. Never Stop Lovin'
