Taking influence from acts such as Coldplay, MUSE, Radiohead, Death Cab for Cutie, Soulwax, Silverchair, Kings of Leon,Biffy Clyro, and Foo Fighters to name a few. Designer Pilot have just completed recording their first release entitled "Time and Space" due for release real early in 2011. With several Sydney shows under their belt and one more planned for 2010, this year has been a busy one for the Pilot's, with their track "Hindsight" being nominated as a finalist for the 2010 Music Oz awards in the alternative song category, which was only a demo, and recording their debut release.
