Desiseq {pronounced des-sis-sec} is the alias of electronic musician & sound designer Stephen Tan based in Melbourne, Australia. Known for his unorthodox approach to experimental music, the signature Desiseq sound incorporates a blend of ambient noise, heavily processed synthesised and recorded materials, glitch'y hyper-edits, digital sequencing & original sound design fuelled by kinetic beats. In May of 2010, Desiseq released his debut album "Deveilas" and in June of 2011 he released the follow up EP entitled 'Adrenochrome' through Hopskotch Records. In November of 2012, Desiseq released his 3rd solo release and 6th release for the year, the "Ephemeras" EP on Australian experimental-glitch-grime label Hopskotch Records. His 4th and latest solo release, the "Think Tank" EP was released in January 2013. This 5-track EP explores the more melodic-based and harmonically driven side of Desiseq's productions, focusing on emotive & nostalgic landscapes with accompanying lush melodies
