DESTINY’S DUST is the brainchild of composer, musician, screenwriter and author Gary Keady. Emerging as a progressive rock duet with a distinctly cinematic edge, DESTINY’S DUST channels expansive soundscapes and evocative storytelling to explore the defining humanitarian struggles of this century—and the uncertain futures they may yet shape. At its core, the project is driven by the dynamic interplay of two contrasting yet complementary voices. The soulful, expressive tones of Randy Wix intertwine with the striking, powerful presence of Opal Stone, creating a rich vocal landscape that carries both emotional weight and dramatic intensity. Together, they inhabit and elevate Gary Keady’s compositions, delivering performances that are as immersive as they are resonant. Musically, DESTINY’S DUST blends elements of progressive rock with atmospheric textures and narrative depth, crafting songs that feel both intimate and expansive. Each piece unfolds like a chapter, reflecting on identity, technology, and the fragile line between humanity and its creations.
