Dezza Maxy is a young punk artist based in the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Their music isn't quite like other music of the same or a similar genre because of how personal it is. They write their music based on their feelings about situations that they have gone through and their music very much comes from the heart. They dream of advocating for LGBTQ+ rights and to further the movement and bring peace to the world. They have faced what everybody faces when they come out of the closet - scrutiny, scares, comments and disowning. They have a saying "I don't like gender, I like music" that they live by because music is their way of forgetting about societal norms and just being themself. Their music is very different because they combine two completely opposite genres: punk and jazz. Their debut single "I don't wanna feel anymore" came out on Dec 15th and it's available everywhere under their artist name "Dezza Maxy"
