Dia Diamond (pronounced Dee-ya Diamond) is a Naarm (Melbourne) based singer-songwriter extraordinaire. They utilise a number of instruments in their arsenal including vocals, piano, guitar, and ukulele. Dia is known for their solo work as a singer-songwriter in the Melbourne scene, and their soulful vocals and passion for music shines through in every performance. Every piece of Dia’s music is deeply personal, and each song tells a story. Their lyrics are honest and relatable, drawing inspiration from a number of personal and second-hand experiences. They write and compose all of their own music, and often find themselves hunched over a piano inspired to write after a long night of dancing, an awkward conversation, or an over-dramatised scenario in their head. Atop of working towards their Bachelor of Songwriting and Music Production, Dia has also released their debut EP in 2024 and is currently working on their debut album set for release this year!
