Dice is a three-piece rock/pop band originally from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The band consists of founding members Daniel Butcher (Vocals, Guitars) and Mike Dean (Drums, Piano, keyboards) and new member Colin McNeil (bass) Dice’s sound would be best described as easy listening, radio friendly rock with a poppy edge. Musical influences include Paramore, Snow Patrol, Kisschasy, Foo Fighters, U2, Kings of Leon, The Fray and Coldplay to name a few. Daniel’s lyrics comprise of many topics including the day to day struggles of life, love, family and are relatable to the average individual. With a gravilly rawness to his voice Daniel has been likened to Gavin Rossdale from Bush, Daniel Johns in his early days with Silverchair and the late Kurt Cobain from Nirvana. Dice started out 6 years ago and have progressed and developed musically to the point where they are a big part of the Melbourne music scene.
