Dilly is a DIY collaboration project fronted by Melbourne based singer/songwriter and producer/engineer Darius Papak. An expression of music, art and thoughts that infuses indie, alternative, ambient, rock and pop styles - but with a passion for all music you'll never know where Dilly takes you next. Coming from a family of music lovers Darius' young ears were hooked on the sweet melodies of Celine Dion and Richard Marx. He knew music would be life. He played in his bands Waverley and 1891 throughout his 20's but realised his unchecked mental health was quickly spiralling out of control. He moved away from gigging to expand his songwriting skills as a producer/engineer. With the wake of Melbourne lockdowns came a lack of income but an opportunity for growth. He bought a transit van, converted it into a solar-powered mobile studio/home and started his business Mix on the Move. He began writing and recording his own music again. Four releases later and he’s not looking back.
