Dinkum Bohos come from a freewheeling bohemian tradition that’s rooted in Australia’s rustic heart. Weaned on travels through deep dangerous hinterland and golden east coast beaches, Vasudha Harte and Jem Edwards present an Australian take on music for runaway romantics. Sounds like... A sonic tour de force, Dinkum Bohos feature adventurous velvet vocals, funky piano artistry, dazzling guitar wizardry and idiosyncratic drums. Chill out to surf twang, relax in a stylish Parisian Café, dance wildly to a dramatic tango, swoon drunkenly in a smoky jazz bar, ignite your fiery passion at a Spanish flamenco fiesta, enjoy a thought-provoking genre-defying roots rap rock punk folk cabaret show. From sublime serene and gorgeous, to cheeky rollicking and raucous. Encounter fresh takes on ancient lands. Three years ago Dinkum Bohos recorded their first CD "Stereognostic" live in their hometown Byron Bay then toured internationally, playing festivals and venues throughout UK, Europe and Asia.
