The Dinosaur Club are an alternative band, originally from the heights of Toowoomba – 2014 saw them hit the big city (aka Brisbane). With influences spanning from The Jungle Giants, The Wombats, Cloud Control, and a touch of Courtney Barnett (to keep their singer happy)… their sound is unique and ready to be heard. Oliver – lead guitar, James – bass, Scott – who likes to hit things, and Emma – lead vocals, create a blend of indie/jazz/alternative sounds that have echoed the bars of Toowoomba and the streets of Brisbane. A highlight of The Dinosaur Club’s performance career was supporting the Rubens in 2013 at a charity event, in aid of a burns victim from their hometown. The event was moving and filled with screaming girls wanting to stroke Scott’s luscious curls. The Dinosaur Club is still hungry for more and currently writing new original material, poised to hit Brisbane soon!
