"Hip Hop is something you live, not just something you do- Kris Parker“ Never a truer word was said then when KRS-One uttered those immortal words and for the last seven years OP and Shortie, a.k.a. DIRTY MOB, have embodied The Teachers lesson, culminating in the Brisbane based brothers preparing to kick down the door upon which opportunity is knocking. With a unique sense of style and individuality fuelled by a true love of Hip-Hop and inspired by all facets of music - DIRTY MOB look to capitalise on the commercial success of their generation with their own honest, raw and often mischievously irreverent approach to the genre with tracks that span from hard-edged street anthems to club bangers. Over the past eight years DIRTY MOB have built a loyal local following that has seen them release two mix tapes and an EP, appearances on Universal Music Australia’s Blazin 4 and Blazin 09 compilations which reached platinum status in Australia, Major Flavours 1, 2 and 3 and Warners
