began as an attempt to create a dance-based project which could be played live in a nightclub environment with a heavy visual aspect. Due to a lack of equipment and funding, only a couple of shows made it to the stage. The tracks on the album were originally composed in 1999. Over the next 8 years, a lot of the material was lost. It wasn't until 2008 that the decision was made to recover the tracks and produce the album. Some tracks were simply too far gone to recover at all. Some, like Mutation and Revolt, couldn't be recovered in multi-track format and thus had to be mastered directly from old stereo recordings without being mixed down. All the material on this album was written, recorded, mixed and mastered by Nathan Cory at his independent studio - Disclosure Inc. - in Perth.
