Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Distempo was born out of tragedy. Not that far in the past, founding members Carey, Greg and Steve found themselves at a wake sharing their love of Steely Dan, Kiss and Led Zeppelin. Fast forward a couple (?) of years.... and bring in some real musicians in Dean and Jason, and a spectacular guest vocalist in Rosie.... and the smooth and sultry sounds of Distempo were born. Call it what you will - yacht rock, soft rock or geriatric groove - Distempo is a smooth and funky tonic for your weekday woes.
