Distraction consists of a group of four young kinda fit and kinda healthy 16 year olds. We formed as distraction in late '05 and have been writing originals for the past 6-8 months. We try to keep our music as hip and original as possible and also try hard to define our genre of music and who we are most influenced by, so if any genres stand out or any bands that we sound like jump out at you lets us know! All of our recordings are done in a little side room of Ben's shed (kindly built by Mikey Durrell) on Michael's laptop using programs known as audacity and krystal. We hope to keep playing together as a band for as long as possible and hope that everyone likes our music and can look back in a couple of years and say remember that time we rocked out to distraction! hopfully!
