Ditzner’s life as a drummer started at an early age and from the get-go it was specked with revolt, which so often ends in capitulation but rarely in unsuspected mastery... It is exactly because of this attitude and because he draws his originality from himself and not from the “ten commandments of jazz” or the “law of rock” that he is at home in all genres.
