Diz is an awkward-looking man from Sydney who makes self-conscious quasi-pop music. There are guitars and synthesisers and samples and drum machines, and no one can quite tell which of them is winning. Most of the songs are downbeat, but this was not intentional. When the stage beckons and the audience calls for blood, a rotating cast of musical friends has been kind enough to bring Diz's tunes to life. They are the Citizens, and we thank them for their service.
