DJ Claire Knight has been around the traps for years. One of Wollongong’s only female DJs, Claire has rocked various clubs and cool underground parties around Wollongong and Sydney since 2005 and is known for her legendary 12-hour sets during these events. Venues you may have seen Claire play sets are North Wollongong Hotel (2010 and Current), Illawarra Hotel (2009), Hostage X (2009), Castro’s (2007), The Brewery (2007), Beach Bar (2006), Glasshouse Front Bar(2006), Rusty’s Upstairs (2005-06) Claire started collecting electronic music when she moved to Amsterdam in 1996 at age 19. Claire’s style is broad. A long set would start with anything from Dead Kennedys rock classic to get the crowd's attentiion and then the journey begins... Perhaps a drop of late 90’s electronica/acid house (Prodigy, Chem Bros, Fatboy Slim, Leftfield, Orbital, Primal Scream), warming into funky house and electro, morphing into throbbing progressive, soaring into gut-wrenching euphorics and climaxing in
