Thoughts of Indonesia might cross your mind... you may even go so far as to imagine the endless landscapes surrounding the city of Melbourne (Raphael and Tristan Stuart are French-Australian) – all the same, you should expect a long journey. Close your eyes, free your senses and wallow in the pure, aerial and fleeting pop music of Djakarta, a band of two brothers whose influences include Alt-J, Radiohead, Grizzly Bear and Tame Impala. Their self-produced first EP showcases dreamlike studio work yet their live performance are anything less than physical: please fasten your seatbelt, there will be turbulences on this flight.
