Edit history

Dolphin was originally formed as a duo in 2016 by members of cherished Hobart low-fi pop outfit, The Foxy Morons, with Amber Perez-Wright (Slumber, Slag Queens) on guitar/vocals, and Celeste McFarlane on drums. Over the last four years, Dolphin have been active in local and interstate music scenes, contributing to the music community by organising concerts and house shows for local and touring bands, collaborating with local artists and prioritising diverse and female-fronted bands and lineups. In late 2019, Amber and Celeste were joined by their old Foxy Morons bandmate, Susie Adkins, on bass, and interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker, Caitlin Fargher, on violin. The group currently reside across Tasmania in Launceston, Hobart and Kettering.
