BIOGRAPHY of DOMINIC ANTHONY GUIDA Dominic Anthony Guida born Domenico Antonio Guida to Italian migrants (Michele Guida and Elide Massaro) was born in Adelaide, South Australia on the 12th of June 1964. It was on this very day that the Beatles visited and performed in Adelaide. Dominic showed an interest in music from an early age. At the age of three Dominic was known to recite entire songs played by a wedding band from the night before. By the age of four Dominic was singing and playing drums in a junk band made from his mother’s pots and pans and whatever other materials he could find. The band soon expanded with his brother and friends joining the band of makeshift instruments. At the age of nine Dominic asked his Mother if he could attend music lessons to learn a “real” instrument as he started to feel a little embarrassed and self conscious about what others might think of him playing in a Junk band.
