A 6 piece groove roots outfit, based in the southern suburbs of Sydney, Don't Hit Ron consist of a group of mates and music lovers combining the best of what they love and what they know. Don't Hit Ron is a plethora of harmonically horn filled jives, that are bound to get your foot tapping and observational lyrics destined to put a smile on that dial. As well as the same olde' four chords, back beats and walkin' bass, Don't Hit Ron also incorporate an added eclecticism stemming from an appreciation and fondness of any beat worth dancing to. This includes Latin rhythms & grooves, funk/soul and slappin' riff rock. So come on down, check out your next local show featuring Don't Hit Ron, and if you're lucky, you might even find out where the name came from! ;) See ya there!
