Initially formed as an informal jam session at Tulane University in New Orleans, Doombalaya has progressed from a cover band to one with its own original music and sound. Sporting a full horn frontline and rhythm section, principle songwriters/arrangers Ethan Stern and David Bode have developed a unique blend of jazz, funk, world, hip hop, afrobeat, and rock. Doombalaya is all about the groove.
