Based in Perth, Western Australia, Doubi & Norman S.D is the collaborative works of singer/songwriter Nicholas Doubikin and producer/multi-instrumentalist Darryn Ball. The duo’s sound finds a blend of indie, alternative, rock and a hint of folk yet captures an entirely new sound of its own. The honest, real and heartfelt lyrics from Nicholas combined with his raw vocal style sees the music divulge into deep storytelling moments. This, coupled with the music production knowledge and instrumentation from Darryn enhances the music scope, for a sound that is distinct and individual to the pair. The duo are currently recording at Norman Solander Studios, but solid release dates and yet to be confirmed.
