Double Twins is the Brainchild of singer and producer Matan KG. On his start in music as a four-foot, fresh-faced kid in Milwaukee: "My dad bought me a Hendrix video once, and I saw him lighting his guitar on fire, and I said, dad, that's not cool. He said, 'Well, son, this is Jimi Hendrix.' Ten years and six bands later, Matan changed his tune- he thinks Jimi Hendrix is pretty cool now. Matan started Double Twins in 2014 as an electro-pop project in connecticut with drummer Dan Pope and a ragtag rotating band, studying neuroscience by day and collecting noise complaints by night. Double Twins is a culmination of Matan's musical drifts throughout the years - uplifting pop, French house, electronic rock, - plus some high-fives, a few hospital gowns, and a lot of dancing. Two years later - just when he thought he might make it at his office job - Matan packed his bags for Coolum Beach, where he lives in his sister's garage producing his next album.
