Dr Dirt is the electrifyingly fresh packet of juicy P-Funk that you simply must taste. Locked down by day and set loose on a red sky dusk, this band prowls the night bouncing the funky flavour to savour, a smooth flowing rhythm that burrows deep into your mind, unleashing the inner pimp inside us all. Funky junkies creeping for their fix, crawling by the glitter strip, ribbons of chewy sounds to taste, magnetic vibrations of deep grooving bass. Dropping the style that signals a new era in filthy sexy Australian funk flavours, Dr Dirt is pimpin out the funk you need to get your system bouncing, the ladies flowing and a style level that's not of this earth! Formed early in 2008 by several members from some of the Gold Coasts most prominent bands, this simple project has grown like a weed after a summer storm and threatens to get much larger than predicted - the wheels on this ride look like they're just spinning faster and faster! 08/09 will be an epic journey with funk on your
