DR Hard Butter is the Perth based Artist whose sounds are heavily influenced by early house, techno & acid Steve, aka DR Hard Butter first started creating music playing rhythm and slide guitar and had always been intrigued by “strange sounds” or sounds that he’d never heard. One day he was introduced to the album exit planet dust by The Chemical Brothers, and ever since new his passion was to create electronic dance music. Steve has studied and completed the electronic music production diploma at SAE campus. He’s also DJ at clubs around Perth and loves to perform live using hardware equipment. Ultimately Dr Hard Butters focus and drive comes from wanting to create something of value for the house and techno community and to bring back that old school rave.
