Steve is the primary song writer, guitarist and vocalist in the band, (whilst the other members seem to be forever changing) and has been tackling the guitar and song writing beast for 10 odd years or so. He's played in a bunch of different rock bands about the place, all cursed with semi obscurity in an already flailing Aussie music scene. He is an avid fan of the new wave, post punk, 'gritty' ethos in song writing, and focuses on interesting guitar sounds, strong, adventurous melodies and harmony, as well as mysterious, somewhat cryptic lyrics that make you think a little.... In his youth and early twenties, throughout the 90's, he was a regular Punter at pubs like the Annandale, the Hoptoun and the Sandringham, in Sydney, and was heavily influenced not only by the mighty Seattle scene in America, but also by some of the unbelievable home grown talent in our own backyard.
