Dr Sinha’s Jazz Lobotomy is a Melbourne-based project founded in 2016. Their meticulously prepared hot grooves and tasty melodies explore identity and culture in Australia. The ensemble is led by Indian-Australian guitarist Chinmay Sinha, who’s finally become the ‘doctor’ his parents always hoped he would be. The Lobotomy released their debut single ‘Grown Man’ on 3/2/17. "In Grown Man, Dr Sinha’s Jazz Lobotomy tackle anxiety as a symptom of fruitlessly attempting to live up to social expectations of masculinity.... Sonically, Grown Man is meaty, hooky, and irrepressibly infectious" ~ Howl and Echoes
