Edit history

Dragonfly are an energetic rock band who belt out melodic, raw intelligent tunes. They are heavily influenced by 80's glam rock/metal and that stands to reason with songwriter/guitarist Marc de Hugar (ex Candy Harlots and Screaming Tribesmen) being the primary writer. Marc has also held onto his influence of traditional Australian artists like Radio Birdmen and the Hitmen, this has created a unique sound for the band, its a hybrid of something Indie Australian and yet also polished American, coupled with a line up of solid musicians. Dragonfly's genesis was nearly a year ago and the boys have released their rocking debut EP "ZERO"which is available at independently owned stores through out Gold Coast,Brisbane and Melbourne. you can hear some of the EP on Myspace, and soon to buy on line. www.myspace.com/dragonflyband Dragonfly Have Been Supporting Bands on the Gold Coast and Brisbane including Lump, Candy Pain, Hell City Glamours and The Fellow and have also been headlining shows
