Edit history

Dread the Winter started 6 years ago under variously different names, with Ryan Clissold on guitar and Michael Mills on drums playing AC/DC covers. We slowly transgressed into performing Metallica covers and then on again into new areas of metal. After being shown the likes of bands such as Machine Head, Lamb of God, Opeth, Amon Amarth and other various sub-genres, we had begun to form our own unique sound and started writing our own songs. Over the past two years, we got vocalist Jack McIntyre on board shortly followed by guitarist Charlie Borella, we have now begun gigging around the local area and recently placed 2nd in the Wodonga Battle of the Bands. We also have now begun demo recordings for our debut album.
