Dream Machine is the electronic project of Alasdair Cannon. He has just released his debut EP, i: "i" is the first release by Dream Machine, the electronic solo project by Alasdair Cannon. Lyrically, it is an exploration of the subconscious, of everything that defines us, and how we subsequently relate to the world outside ourselves - and so, it covers topics such as technological change, spirituality, and psychology. Mirroring this, the album incorporates a wide array of sounds, including dub, punk, post-rock and modern electronic production, to establish a dense, murky and propulsive atmosphere. The EP was written, recorded and mixed at home between May and September, 2017.
